FIX RMAN-11001 ORA-01547 "warning: RECOVER succeeded but OPEN RESETLOGS would get error below"

Error Description:

Open resetlogs fails with 01152, 00000, "file %s was not restored from a sufficiently old backup "

Solution Description:

It looks like the datafiles are not consistent state. The datafiles must be in consistent state after the recovery to open the database in open resetlogs.

You have to reexecute the script using a longer recovery with ‘set until’ clause.

Make sure the log sequence you specified in set until clause is at least one grater thatn the last one created after the database backup completes. In this case RMAN takes upto the required sequence and this will make the consistency for the recovery.
